Welcome to Aqua Blue Heaven Friday! A very steamy, muggy and all-around grody friday. (And yes, I *did* just say "grody" because apparently it's 1985.)
Today's aqua deliciousness is this interesting set of Vintage 60's Keyhole Design Glasses:
Yep, keyholes! Cool, right? Never saw that design before (as far as vintage glassware goes, I mean). I wonder what the inspiration was for these back in the day? All's I know is that they rock pretty hard. But if aqua's not your bag, the seller also has yellow and green ones for sale. Score! (If I wasn't overrun with vintage glassware already, I'd buy them all and do a little mixy-matchy action.) See?:
Perfect for summer lemondade. Or iced tea. Or pink squirrels. Whatever. All glasses currently available on Etsy from seller Molly's Closet.

ReplyDeleteErin
maybe for those infamous "key parties?" hmmm....
ReplyDeleteI have a very cool set of 60's key hole glasses that when you peek through the key, you get to see a pinup girl inside. I always thought that's what key hole glasses were. Those above kinda have my stumped??

These glasses are so cool!! Never saw this pattern before!
ReplyDeleteWe have grey and red squirrels over here in the UK, and I've read all about Britney supposedly eating squirrel(!), but, what, pray, is a PINK squirrel? Do tell.
ReplyDeleteHa! Key parties. Gross. You guys rule.
ReplyDeletePenny- a pink squirrel is a super girlie, super sweet cocktail, created sometime in the 50's-60's.
