It's Way-Out Wednesday, kids!
I was going to save today's pick for this sunday's "Prints Charming Sunday" theme (being as though what you're about to see is a damn cute novelty print. DAMN CUTE.) However, my toe-curling joy from vintage love could not be contained and therefore must be shared with you now! RIGHT. NOW. And while that sounds borderline filthy (if you didn't read it that way then move along Grandma), I promise today's pick is not borderline filthy. It's a wonderfully dorky and therefore made of the most extreme kind of AWESOME, this Vintage 60's Lion Novelty Print Shift Dress, available on Etsy from seller TMHL:
A lion. Wearing glasses. Reading a book.
Win, win, win and oh my god WIN. Nerds of the world unite! Our time has come. Oh yes. Our time has come. How nerdy am I, exactly? The whole time I wrote today's post, I imagined that the lion's voice probably sounds exactly like the animal kingdom's version of Jerry Lewis's Nutty Professor and how ass-kicking it'd be if there was a cartoon based solely on the Nerd Lion from this dress. That's how nerdy.

Atomic Tuesday: Hey Bartender, You Make My Heart Surrender
Welcome to Atomic Tuesday!
I've seen- and collected- a lot of vintage barware in my day. And I mean alot. As in: you'd think I was a Kennedy with all this bar and glassware around. Yet it's always exciting to come across a great vintage bar score, like this extra swanktacular Vintage 60's Atomic Starburst Cocktail Set:
Everything about this set is killer: the tripod stand, (the fact that it has a tripod stand), the long, tall pitcher, the gold starbursts, all cool. The set is available on Etsy from seller Atty's Vintage for an even cooler $38. I love it! Now if you'll excuse me, I have some very importantcocktails to make. Dishes to do. Laundry to fold. Cocktails to make.

Prints Charming Sunday: Umbrella Enchanted
Rain, rain, rain. That's all we seem to be getting lately! (But it ain't raining men or money.) But I'm not hatin'. I love the rain more than the sun. (I'm sure that's shocking to you all, given my always-sunny demeanor and all. Harumph.) So I found the perfect solution to beat the rainy day blues for those of you who like the sun. (The solution does not include 1 or 2 or 5 cocktails, I'm sad to report. Or a hot pool boy. Or to be filthy stinking rich. Or to have the power to make your enemies and/or spouses spontaneously combust. Sigh. Moving on.) How about a vintage umbrella novelty print? (Yeah, I know. It's not as good as those other things, but you gotta make do with what you got.)
I couldn't settle on picking just one cute print like usual, so I picked 4. (Just like men and cocktails- you can never have just one. Thank you! I'll be here all night.)
